The Personal Project

This has been our first opportunity to create our own brief this year and definitely the project i’ve  worked hardest for. I chose to work on from my first litho images and create a hand bound book of prints about different cyclists. This is the end result!  

The quote on the first and last pages reads;

“It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, as you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. In a motor car only a high hill impresses you and you have no such rememberance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle ” Hemmingway

Some sketchbook work for the Personal Project

Disaro logo design - Brief was to design a simple and a more elaborate logo for record company Disaro, who promote the Witch House genre of music. I used the symbol of a hare as it was once believed that witches could transform themselves into a Hare to evade capture from witch hunters.
